Andrea Bertello
Director of Country Engagement & Partnerships
Andrea is responsible for managing RELP's engagement efforts and operations with host country governments and with current and new partners. He holds a degree in Economics (Torino, Italy) and an MA in Sustainable International Development (Brandeis University, Waltham MA, US), and he has 15+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector as a consultant, entrepreneur, and academic lecturer. From 2005 to 2008 he worked for Trinergy Ltd., a wind energy asset manager based in Dublin and New Energy Finance in London. Since 2008, Andrea has been involved in the creation and start-up of three companies, whose core business includes renewable energy project development and consultancy (Aires Renewables, Buenos Aires), energy efficiency through IoT monitoring and data analysis solutions (PHPower, Italy), and small-scale renewable energy and hybrid systems generation (Energy Links, Italy). He has taught several renewable energy and climate change courses as an adjunct professor at Brandeis University and at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) in Buenos Aires. He has been an external evaluator for the European Commission for H2020 projects on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and fin-tech.
